A short stroll away
Save-On-Foods
The beauty of big box stores is that no matter what city you’re in, they’re mostly the same. Even the layouts stay pretty similar. So whether you’re in Save-on-Foods in Kelowna or Vancouver, you’ll know how to quickly find what you’re looking for. Plus, this spot’s a quick walk from your home base at the Shore so you can easily run out for those forgotten items.

Urban Fare
A little bit further in Mission Park Shopping Centre is Urban Fare. While it’s a bit pricier than stores like Save-On, the selection of local groceries, deli choices, and florist, plus a restaurant and juice bar make it worth it for us. Need a last minute gift for friends or family? They have a great selection of pre-made gift baskets available too.

Lakeview Market
This 100% family-owned, small grocery store in the heart of South Pandosy is one not to be missed. Stock up the fridge for a week of home cooked meals or drop in for a treat from their delicious bakery. Lakeview Market sources much of their produce from local vendors, and their deli, bakery, and meat department always have something special you can’t resist.

Choices Market
If you’re in need of groceries for specific dietary needs, Choices Market is a good option. It might add a bit onto your grocery bill, but if you’re gluten-free, on a keto diet or simply looking for good organic fare, it’s worth it!
1937 Harvey Ave, Kelowna, BC
11 min drive (5.6km) from the Shore
Guisachan Village
This little shopping village is one of our favourites because as a complex, it’s a one-stop shop. The village has everything you need – a grocer, bakery, meat shop & deli, seafood shop, and liquor store. Bonus round: grab some extra treats at Daniel Chocolates.
2365 Gordon Dr, Kelowna, BC
5 min drive (2.9km) from the Shore
Sunshine Market
Head a little further into the Mission neighbourhood and you’ll find a little convenience grocer tucked away on lakeshore road. Sunshine Market’s subs and deli offerings are great for grab-and-go lunch options and the Famous Curly Fry Poutine is a must-try! If you’re planning on visiting Kelowna’s popular Summerhill Pyramid Winery, this is a great stop on the way.

Costco
If you’re looking to buy in bulk for a longer stay or simply have more mouths to feed, head to the newly renovated Kelowna Costco. New since early 2022, this location’s quite a bit bigger than the previous one and carries most of what you might need (and always more than you planned). Plus, it’s easy to navigate, carrying all the usual Costco fare – a food court, tire centre, and pharmacy – plus a new self-checkout and gas station. This makes for a quicker shop trip and fewer stops on the way home.
2125 Baron Rd, Kelowna, BC

Hollywood Station
A bit further out into the Rutland area of Kelowna you’ll find another cluster of specialty shops. Hollywood Station features Old Town Farm Market for produce and essentials and Johnny’s meats for specialty cuts and local meats. But the true crown jewel of this space are the Kelownuts you can get at Specialty Bakery. This delicious treat was named one of the best inventions of 2013 and has been a local favourite ever since.
