Kelowna’s nightlife typically peaks in the summer months as tourists flock to the city, and drops off in the other three seasons. But with the growth of UBC’s Okanagan campus, there’s been an influx of younger people breathing new life into the city’s entertainment scene.
The majority of Kelowna’s bars, pubs and clubs are set in the downtown core, as well as a few in the entertainment district in the North End. Whether you’re looking for somewhere to dance or a new spot for trivia night, check out some of our favourite nightlife spots in the area.

Wings Kelowna
Known for more than just their chicken, Wings in Kelowna is a delightful space with great staff and a delicious menu of food and drinks. Drop in for a comedy show, live music, or one of their fun trivia nights!
PS: if you’re a fan of hot wings but can never get enough heat, be sure to ask about their higher levels of spice. Their infamous “Bobby Wing” contains a blend of the hottest peppers in the world, and requires a waiver to be signed before they’ll serve it to you.

The Train Station Pub
The Train Station Pub in Kelowna’s downtown core lives up to its name as it’s built in a restored 1926 railway station. Serving elevated Canadian pub food, this place is also stocked with plenty of local craft beers and Okanagan wines for you to try. Try the chicken and waffles or po boy and you won’t be disappointed. Don’t miss out on their super fun trivia nights on Mondays or their live music Thursdays.

If you have a love for dancing and want to feel the beats in your bones, these Kelowna clubs are the perfect speed for you.
Gotham Nightclub
Gotham Nightclub sets a high bar for nightlife in Kelowna. It’s the perfect place for the younger (or young at heart) crowd to party. The music ranges from electronica to hip hop and every dance-inspiring tune in between. When you need a break, have a seat in their stylish private lounge area. Make it an extra special night by reserving a VIP booth for you and your group.

The Liquid Zoo Lounge & Gentlemen’s Club
The Liquid Zoo is a multi-level club that embraces whatever energy level you bring with you. Known for its exotic dancers far beyond the Okanagan, Liquid Zoo is an experience you won’t soon forget.

These bar choices are for when you want a great night out, while keeping things balanced, not boring. Get ready for fun, but you’ll also probably make it out of bed the next morning.
OK Corral Cabaret
Keep an eye out for seriously talented 2-steppers and line dancers at this unique addition to the list. An all-ages country bar in Kelowna, the OK Corral Caberet has one of the liveliest dance floors in town. Enjoy plenty of live country and rock music, and great drink specials. Plus, they have a mechanical bull if you feel like testing your riding skills.

Rusty’s Sports Bar and Lounge
Head to Rusty’s for a night of good food and pool with friends. They do seasonal specials and a daily special, so keep an eye out for that. We personally like heading there on a Sunday for their signature burger on special.

Bernie’s Supper Club & Cinema (formerly Doc’s)
This spot was previously known as Doc Willoughby’s – or just ‘Doc’s” – a Kelowna favourite for food, drinks, and live music. Now, transformed into Bernie’s Supper Club, it’s a spot where you can get a delicious dinner before or after catching a movie. If you’re a fan of cocktails, their Pear of Aces comes highly recommended.

If you’re in the mood for classic pub fare, this is the place to be. There are locations across the country but Leopold’s Tavern in Kelowna can be found on Bernard Street.
